And the end result is effortless referrals!
Yesterday I visited a networking group I have been leading for the past decade. It was my second visit for the year.
The initial information about this group are as follows:
1. They run a smooth flowing meeting by the book: although I did comment that it was like a Japanese watch movement, and that we now need to achieve Swiss watch movement.
2. The members are engaged in the group’s overall goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
3. Therefore, every member is well aware of the end-results if they were to engage themselves in their group’s Goals and Performance Indicators.
4. Every member understands team-work and is a team-player.
Among an element involved in the group’s KPIs are how many 1-2-1 Meetings they have had with their colleagues in the group to understand each others business better and therefore, the ability to generate quality referrals for each other is enhanced dramatically.
As a result I observed many referrals passed yesterday. The ratio was almost what their KPI have stated: 1 member to pass 2 Referrals a week. And interesting to note is that these were not superficial referrals of an internal requirement, though there were a few isolated ones, but genuine nevertheless.
The rest of the referrals were of high quality and the word I will use to describe them are: effortless.
Yes, it appeared that the referrals generated among the members were effortless, yet of high quality. Many of the referrals will convert into sales, without a doubt.
I like this end result, and this have given me an idea on how to pursue the other groups on how to play catch up.
I am looking forward working with the other teams how this can be achieved for them.

Thanks Riyaz for your continuous support and guidance. You are a great mentor for us.
