On my way back home after visiting my parents for lunch today, I shot some pictures while being stuck in terrible traffic. It was the intersection of Mon’t Kiara to Garden International School (GIS) towards Segambut.
Of course, I acknowledge the timing of my trip was ill-thought taking into consideration school dismissal time. And rightfully so.
At [...]

Ok. Ok, so I have a recurrence of slipped disc triggered by a bad-cough. Possibilities:
1. Meet a chiropractor
2. Meet an orthopedic chap
3. Acupuncture?
4. FIR Sauna?
5. Massage while rubbing good ol’ Tiger Balm?
6. Take painkillers and ride it out? Voltaren 100mgSR is pretty good! And the cheapest solution, me thinks!
Or all of the above?

Last Wednesday (July 21), I started experiencing massive head-aches right after finishing my breakfast.
And by lunch time it was such a bad-ass one that I had to pop in 2 x 650mg of Uphamols = 1,300mg equivalent of paracetamol. But my big body would probably need this large dosage. Till evening the headache was [...]

I rang someone today, who from now on for the purpose of this article, will label him as ‘A raw and clueless dick’ead’.
Let me explain why:
I rang him to have a conversation with him on some business matters but the phone was not answered.
After terminating the line, I was about to decide whether to leave [...]

Yes, I know I haven’t been entering new entries on my blogsite here and I am rotten about it myself.
With so much happening these past few weeks, my life had been hijacked away from all norms, including time away from my family, and my parents. My dad who is having memory lapse here and there [...]

I recall a conversation with Celcom’s CEO, Datuk Sazali some years back in a branding seminar I attended.
He’s a flamboyant bloke, long hair and all, but knows his stuff well. I am going to express some of his thoughts in guarding and defending your brand name.
Datuk Sazali mentioned in that conversation over a lunch that [...]

Some conversations with my team members these past few days had me asking them: ‘Do you want to be bald, boring but rich, or creative but broke?’
Because of the fact that our business revolves around subscribing to an established system (via franchise) almost all the operating procedures are established in critical areas. Therefore, there’s no [...]

Consider this:
1. You hail down a taxi-cab to go to your destination and the driver says to you, that’s he’s only learning to drive.
2. You ask your PA to write a cheque for a rental payment and he says to you, that he’s only learning to write.
3. You call in the electrician to fix a [...]

I have traveled half-way across the globe to attend the BNI European Conference in Coventry, England.
And risk possibly staying here longer as with all the volcanic ash issue over the airspace.
But when I do get back, what’s going to be different? What is it that I am going to focus on?
Well, one inspiration comes from [...]

So here’s the plan if this Icelandic volcano ash is still causing the skies in UK to be closed to air traffic.
My return flight is booked on Thursday, April 22 at 10:15am out of Gatwick.
If I can get on, then all good.
Else, according to Qatar Airways website info, I need to book another route (at [...]
