Yes, a good read and very insightful if indeed you want to make an impact in your presentations for business or sales, etc.
A particular lesson I learned was: Passion Statement.
In our presentations, the writer recommended adding a passion statement as this [...]

with the work.
The work can be a piece [...]

This story was related to me about 20 years ago, by one of my then business principals from Singapore during a dinner with him.
We were talking about being overweight, and how various weight loss programs don’t work, except this one:
So here’s this guy, about 15kgs overweight, who wanted to shed it off. He tried everything [...]

This story was related to me by my mother who was counseling me some years ago, when I was in a tricky situation.
A King wanted to go for a walk in the forest and summoned one of his servants to accompany him, and to carry some supplies such as water, food and the such.
As they [...]

I came across this article in a forwarded e-mail sent by a friend. I don’t know if it is true, but also can’t say if it’s not.
Start of forwarded e-mail as follows: (edited for proper language purposes only)
It is very disturbing to know how young & innocent girls fall into the trap of man’s [...]

I recall sometime ago, when I was working in office still, that when Gillette launched their Mach 3 Razor series.
At that time, (as I am now still) I was using The Gillette Sensor Excel Series.
So, when I talked about it to my jack-ass colleague, he asked, ‘The Mach 3? What does it do?’
‘It shaves!’ [...]

My business principal was in town the past week, and put up in a hotel with Executive floor access.
With that access, came privileges such as invitation to breakfast, evening meals, snacks, unlimited drinks, business center with internet, even laundry.
So there we were, enjoying what would be ‘the’ best hot chocolate in the whole of Asia, [...]

Yes, I am a fridge magnet junkie. Whenever I travel, and whenever I pop my nose into inside a gift shop, I will look out for fridge magnets. A new ‘junkie’ type fetish I picked up since 2007.
Here’s a pic of my fridge at home:
So, when you need to get me some gifts when [...]
