How come I am so poor?

Business Process, Epiphanies

I am certain you have seen this somewhere:

I sold on credit, I sold on cash

Sold on Cash Sold on Credit

This is going to be the easiest consulting case I will take, though I will charge very high and only give the solution on full payment, in cash, that is!

In analyzing a company operation, it was noted that they are selling on credit and it is causing massive losses to the company. So what they need to do is to stop selling on credit.

Disallow it completely would be my counsel to the company.

Will it make some people unhappy? Why yes, of course.

Is this solution offered, while easy to implement as a policy, will it be easily acceptable on the ground? Likely no, as some people who have understood how this works who are making money in the sky will find that their gravy train is about to come to a halt. These are the middle-men who collect the client deposits.

Now, I need to find a way to articulate this, both written and verbal. That’s how I get paid! (I’ll be sure to take cash for my consult). If this company wants to increase its profitability, it will need to make some tough decisions ahead.

How much do you think I should charge for this consulting case?
